Description

If you have been to Taiwan during the summer, you'll how scorchingly hot it can get. Taipei Water Park is a great place to take kids to cool off and enjoy some splashing fun. Close to the National Taiwan University, and the GongGuan MRT station, it is affordable and easy to get to via MRT. The entrance fee is about NT 50-80 per person according to time of the year. They feature a huge swimming pool (very shallow), several colorful waterslides, and mushroom-shaped water sprinklers. It is usually very crowded in summer, but kids do enjoy this place very much. There are lifeguards overseeing the whole park so makes it quite safe. You can inflate your float by the entrance to the park and there are swim gear, floats, goggles for purchase as well. Also a very modest area of lockers, showers and changing rooms. By the entrance there is a small food court for kids to munch on after exhausting themselves at the park. Next to it is the Museum of Drinking Water which is a nice area to walk around.
