Neihu is a short MRT/taxi away from Taipei city and has lots of green pasture for the family to enjoy. This trail is also called the Fifty Bend Trail because it turns left and right and winds up. It is next to Neihu Dahu Park and there’s an easy to access hiking trail at the edge of the park that provides some beautiful views from the top. The hike takes about 30 minutes to the top, and includes stairs. At the top of the mountain there is a viewing platform with chairs with views of Taipei 101. Right next to it, there's an exercise area for adults. You can either trace your steps go back to Dahu Park, or keep walking and that will eventually lead you to the Huzhou MRT Station. Follow the path will lead you to a small temple. Take the stairs next to the temple and once on the path take a right for the Bailusishan Trail (白鷺鷥山), the left will lead you to the Kangleshan (康樂山) trail, which I would not recommend heading towards for families with young children.
