Kenting 5Days4Night Marine Biology Camp - Spend a night at National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium

Just like the movie "A Night at the Museum" -  but the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium in Southern Taiwan!

Centered on the rich marine resources and natural landscapes of southern Taiwan, this camp integrates marine education, ecological observation, geological exploration, and astronomy experiences to create a diverse range of meaningful outdoor learning activities. Through on site visits and expert guidance, children spend five days and four nights in a residential camp gaining an in depth understanding of the natural environment. They develop observation skills, curiosity, and scientific literacy, while also learning independence and teamwork through group living, resulting in a fulfilling and unforgettable growth experience.

A highlight of the camp is the special overnight stay at the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. Led by professional marine conservation staff, participants tour the exhibition halls and behind the scenes areas to learn about the care and breeding environments of marine life. Children also attend a feeding presentation at the ocean tank, observing sharks and large fish up close and learning about their ecological behaviors. In addition, they take part in touch pool experiences, personally interacting with marine creatures such as starfish and sea cucumbers. These hands on activities increase learning engagement, and participants even spend a unique night alongside rare marine animals such as beluga whales and penguins.

Beyond marine education, the camp includes rocky shore intertidal zone exploration and observation of southern Taiwan’s distinctive geological features. Under the guidance of professional instructors, children visit natural formations such as honeycomb rocks and chessboard rocks to understand landform development and biological habitats. The program also includes a visit to Kenting National Forest Recreation Area for forest bathing experiences, where participants learn about tropical plants and forest ecosystems, fostering a deeper interest in natural science.

The camp includes animal interaction and farm exploration activities, allowing children to get up close with sika deer, capybaras, and rabbits, as well as visit a chocolate themed farm to learn about plant growth and food production processes. Through an integrated program covering marine science, ecology, geology, and astronomy, the camp offers children a deep exploration journey that combines strong educational value with meaningful personal growth.

One of our key strengths is our diverse range of programs, which include natural science camps, outdoor survival experiences, and adventure and extreme sports camps. Fengyun camps are not simply about keeping children entertained. In addition to learning through play, we place strong emphasis on children’s physical health, habit building, and positive social interaction, while helping them develop emotional intelligence (EQ) and adversity quotient (AQ).
