Back by popular demand, we’re bring to Taiwan for the third year, “Fun Taiwan Art Camp”! A camp that promises to unleash your child’s creativity and build Mandarin skills. Fun Taiwan Art Camp is a best-of-both-worlds Mandarin summer camp for kids who want to learn Mandarin and have fun with different mediums of art.  Campers will have structured Mandarin lessons in the morning.  In the afternoon, experienced art teacher will provide guidance and explain various artistic expression, allowing the campers to create their own masterpiece!  Whether its water coloring, sketching, arts & craft or dough figurine, each week camper have a different theme and medium to work with.   What a fun way to improve their Mandarin listening, speaking skills and allow the artist in them to shine through!

Enrollment Process

  • Please register for the camp with this form – Registration Form
  • Parents will receive additional details on camp and payment information in an e-mail within 3 business days.
  • Parents should complete payment within 3 business days and email funtaiwancamp@gmail.com with payment receipt.
  • Parents are responsible for wire fees and other bank fees incurred as a part of the payment or refund process.
  • After payment is confirmed, an email confirmation will be sent to parents’ e-mail.

Q&A

  • Q: How is Fun Taiwan Camp different from Fun Taiwan Art Camp?
  • A: Fun Taiwan Camp is our signature camp where students learn Mandarin in the morning, and in the afternoon, they have opportunity to interact with local children. Fun Taiwan Art Camp is a smaller, customized camp for children who love art. We are keeping the class size between 4-8 for more personalized attention. The instructions will be given in Mandarin. It is suitable for children who are creative and love to experiment with different mediums of art.
  • Q: What is the student-teacher ratio for Chinese classroom lessons?
  • A:  The class size will be between 4-8 students.
  • Q:  How does the camp handle campers with different levels of Chinese language ability? How do you ensure an optimal learning experience?
  • A:  After the initial assessment test, students will be identified as beginner or advanced learners. The small class size will enable teachers to give focused teaching according to the student’s level. Homework assignments will also be assigned in accordance to student levels.
  • Q: Does Fun Taiwan Art Camps have any interactions with local students?
  • A: For the Chinese class in the morning, they will be in a small class with other overseas kids. In the Art Studio in the afternoon, there will be a few local students., however, interaction is not guaranteed.
  • Q:  Are there any outdoor activities planned for the campers?
  • A:  No, they will be focusing in creating art in the studio.
  • Q:  How will the campers get from Chinese classroom to the art studio?
  • A:  The teacher will walk them. It is about 5-7 minutes walk between the classroom and the art studio.  .
  • Q: What kind of lunch will be provided?  What if campers have dietary requirements or restrictions?
  • A:  Fun Taiwan Art Camp provides delicious, healthy, and nutritious meals in local style. If campers have known food allergies, please inform the teacher in advance. If campers wish to prepare their own lunch, the meal cost will not be refunded or excluded from total camp fees.  
  • Q:  How often is the classroom cleaned and sanitized?
  • A:  A custodian cleans the classroom, bathroom, and surfaces every day.

Refund Policy 

  • Q:  I have already finished enrollment and completed payment. However, I now won’t be able to travel to Taiwan. Can I get a refund?
  • A: The registration fee are non-refundable.  Refunds for tuition may be processed under the following conditions
  1. If for any reason, Fun Taiwan Art Camp cancels the camp 1-5 business days before the 1st day of the session, total camp fees (excluding the registration fee) will be refunded.  
  2. If for any reason, campers wish to cancel enrollment, 90% of the tuition will be refunded provided that the cancelation request is emailed at least 30 calendar days before the first day of camp.
  3. If campers wish to cancel enrollment before the end of the 1st week, only 50% of the tuition will be refunded.
  4. There will be no refunds of tuition after the 1st of camp.    
  • Refunds will not be processed until Sept 2026. It may take up to 30 working days after processing for campers to receive refunds. The registrant shall bear the cost of the wire transfer and other bank fees incurred during the refund process.  
  • Q: What will happen to the camp if the pandemic situation deteriorates and Taiwan’s government cancels all in-person classes?
  • A:  If in-person class is not permitted because of the pandemic, Chinese classes will be held online and the afternoon sessions will be canceled. Tuition will be partially refunded. Fun Taiwan Camp reserves the right to adjust the camp as necessary.   
  • Q: If for any reason a camper decides to take leave for a few days or call in sick, can we get a refund for the missed days?
  • A:  Regretfully, refunds will not be provided for any leaves of absence.
  • Q: If the camp is canceled due to typhoons or other natural disasters, will we receive a refund?
  • A:  We regretfully will not be able to provide refunds for camp cancellations due to typhoons or natural disasters.
